PURPOSE: To reduce the power consumption of a stopwatch and ensure the high precision thereof by selecting a stopwatch count input signals, depending on the required precision. ;CONSTITUTION: A signal generated with an oscillation circuit 101 is divided into signals necessary for a basic time count, for example, 1Hz signals, via a frequency dividing circuit 102 and a reference signal frequency dividing circuit 103 for a basic time count.
