A method for the solvent dewaxing of wax-containingpetroleum products with at least one solvent suitable fordewaxing and a polymeric dewaxing aid comprising polyacrylates,by mixing the products to be dewaxed with the solvent and thepolymeric dewaxing aid, chilling the mixture so obtained, andseparating the precipitated wax, the dewaxing aid used being amixture of(I) a polymer of esters of acrylic acid with C10-C40alkanols and(II) a polymer of esters of methacrylic acid withalkanols comprising more than 10 weight percent ofbranched alkanols,the weight ratio between components (I) and (II) ranging from1:20 to 20:1.
