An object of the present invention is to provide a parenting agent exhibiting excellent hair growth promoting action, (A) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of fatty acids, alcohols and derivatives thereof having an odd carbon chain length and ( B) a parenting agent comprising a root extract of forskolin, its derivatives or Koleus forskoli.
