PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining wall composed of horizontal sheathing with a soldier beam, which prevents the protrusion of groundwater and the outflow of sediment in the construction of the earth retaining wall, and which can be easily removed after the construction; and to provide a construction method for the earth retaining wall.;SOLUTION: The horizontal sheathing 1 with the soldier beams comprises the soldier beams 2 which are to be driven at predetermined intervals into ground 10, horizontal sheathing 3 which is installed between the soldier beams 2, and cut-off sections 4 which are formed only in positions to block off the flow of the groundwater in aquifers 6 and 8 of the ground 10, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
