SUBSTANCE: method involves compression of dump steam brought to compressor suction pressure within turbine to desired pressure within condenser without increasing its heat content. isothermal compression is preferred in superheated steam region. This is attained by spraying equal portions of atomized water into diffusers of each compressor stage. Then compressed air is passed to superheater and further to turbine. Novelty is dispensing with dump steam condensation. We know that heat loss in steam condensation is dictating factor. EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption, capital outlays, improved environmental conditions.
