Motorcycle headlamp design

A motorbike headlamp has two bulbs (16,17) and a cover (10) at the front forming the fairing. The headlamp housing (15) has a rear section (13) fixed to the fairing and a front section (14) is made of moulded resin, carrying the lens (21). The lens is inclined to the front and to the bottom. There are two reflectors (19), one to each bulb. They are held in the rear section of the housing in such a way that they can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. There is a running lamp (18) in the lower part of the front headlamp section. There is a separator between the two main bulbs, the lower bulb being used for main beam only and the upper bulb for main/dipped beam.
