The toroidal-form joint surfaces (4, 5) have, in a longitudinal plane and a cross plane different circular-shaped intersection contours as function surfaces, whereby the curvature conditions of the function surfaces in each of the planes are either convex-convex, convex-concave, or concave-concave. The joint geometry of the function surfaces in each of the planes is determined by a joint chain with two joint axes which run through the rotation centres (M1, M2) of the function surfaces with specific radii.
