The fishing device is formed from a block (1), which carries an arm (2), which is fitted by means of a pivot pin (6). The pivot arm carries a spherical bell (7), to warn the fisher when movement takes place, and, at the opposite end, an eye (5), through which passes the fishing line. It also carries a stop plate (3), to allow pivoting in one direction only. The whole assembly is attached to a fixing frame (10), which also carries the reel (8). The line passes from the reel, through the guide (4), which is fixed to the main block, through the eye, on the pivot arm and then off into the water, carrying the lead and hook (9), which can be thrown a distance of 30 to 100 m, into the water.
