The frame of the transporter has baseplate(8), the top side of which serves to support the suitcase or travelling bag, and with a plate(28) pivot-mounted on its underside and upon which are fitted two spaced apart wheel blocks(34,36). On the underside of the baseplate there are two spaced apart guide tubes(12) for an extendable U-form handle with its cross member(16) serving as a grip. The handle can be locked in the fully extended position or in various intermediate positions.
