PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary sleeper for a shield tunneling work by which the rail surface supported by a sleeper to be laid can be formed in a low position, and especially the temporary sleeper useful in the case of constructing the secondary lining by plastic or an steel pipe, or a pipe such as a cast iron pipe or the like. ;SOLUTION: A sleeper main body 5 formed by a band plate is constructed and arranged substantially in the horizontal direction in such a manner as to be like a chord to a circular-arc inner surface formed by the bottom sides of mutual joining surfaces of buried segments. Further, both right and left ends of the sleeper main body 5 are fixed to the inner surface of the segments, packings 8a, 8b are provided in the gaps formed by both end lower surfaces of the sleeper main body 5 and the segment inner surface opposite to the lower surfaces, and a temporary rail is laid substantially right above the packings 8a, 8b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
