PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk lamp type luminaire for a study desk in which a study desk is used effectively and a personal computer can be placed with a good operability as well. ;SOLUTION: In a desk lamp type luminaire for a study desk which consists of a supporting member fitted to a shelf of a study desk and a lamp fitting supported by the supporting member, the supporting member is composed of a fixed post 36 fixed to the shelf 5a of the study desk 1 and a sliding post 35 which is supported so that it can slide perpendicularly in the fixed post 36, and a height of the lamp fitting 16 can be changed.
