PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device which are used to disinfect and sterilize not only environment or atmosphere in a room but also directly to objects to be processed such as facilities and tools effectively and safely, especially for human bodies. ;SOLUTION: From a spray liquid supply part 1, a spray liquid composed of small-cluster water preferably having a cluster of less than 90, more preferably less than 70, or that including ozone containing water is supplied to a spray part 2, and is atomized by a atomization device 5 and sprayed outside from a nozzle 6. In the spray liquid, ozone can be decomposed by an ozone decomposing catalyst 8 to O+ or OH+ (radicals) having further larger sterilizing effects and used. By this, high, durable sterilizing effects safe for human bodies, etc., can be obtained, and the method and the device can be used for a wide range objects from a vast space or atmosphere to medical and cooking devices, food and plants, easily and at a low cost.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
