PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily mass-produce the subject filament exhibiting a medical effect, etc., specific to nephrite jade and useful for usual necessaries of life by blending fine powdery nephrite jade into a polyamide-based melt and/or a polyester-based melt just before spinning, and spinning. ;SOLUTION: Nephrite jade powder 2 is sprayed into a polyamide-based melt and/or a polyester-based melt just before spinning in a misty state and the nephrite jade powder 2 and the melt 1 are ejected from spinnerets in a blended state. By the method, the nephrite jade powder 2 is uniformly dispersed in a filament and filaments exhibiting medical effects (remedy of a hypertension, a cardiac disease or a nephric disease, etc.) and physical effects such as removing of heavy metal, removing of bad odor, acceleration of a plant, or improving of water quality, etc., are obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
