The present invention concerns novel compounds of the general formula I, wherein Re1 represents alkyl containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 3 to 7 carbon atoms or alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms being substituted with cycloalkyl having 3 to 7 carbon atoms; Re2 denotes hydrogen or alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms; Alk represents alkanediyl containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms; -A- represents a bivalent radical of the general formula -CH=CH-N=CH- (a), -N=CH-N=CH- (b), -CH=N-N=CH- (c), -CH=CH-CH=N-(d); whereby in said bivalent radicals a hydrogen atom may be replaced by alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and Ar denotes unsubstituted phenyl; phenyl substituted with up to two substituents selected from the group comprising a halogen, alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or alkyloxy having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; unsubstituted naphthyl; or naphthyl substituted with up to two substituents selected from the group comprising a halogen, alkyl with 1 to 6 carbon atoms or alkyloxy having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; the stereochemically isomeric forms thereof, and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. The present invention further comprises pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds of the general formula I, the preparation thereof as well as their use as a medicine in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
