Continuous stunning of pigs by gas in a slaughter house uses a continuous system consisting of at least one transporter coupled with a stunning chamber. The pigs are transported on an incoming conveyor to the stunning chamber, which contains a conveyor through a gas-filled space. On the other side, a removal belt transporter carries the stunned pigs to be bled.
