When a message is received with receiving section 2, the received message is stored in message storing section 6 regardless of registering state of a group, which the received message belongs to. In such a case that the message is read from the message storing section 6, only the registered group names are displayed on a display unit 15 in list form. By selecting a desired group name from among the displayed group names, the user can see the content of the message belonging to the selected group. The registration and the cancellation of registration of each of the groups are performed by operating switches 10 to 13 and registering state of each of groups is stored in group name storing section 7.
