BLOCKED JOINT BETWEEN SMOOTH END OF ONE PIPE LINE AND END OF OTHER PIPE LINE FITTED WITH BELL MOUTH

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: joint is fitted with bell mouth where radial compression gland is mounted; it includes also rigid thrust ring, blocking rim embracing smooth end of pipe line. Device with counterflange includes fixture for catching the bell mouth of pipe line. Rigid thrust ring is made in form of ring- partition pressed between radial surface of bell mouth and front surface of counterflange. Blocking rim is tightly embraced on outer and lateral sides with coupling made from elastomer material. This coupling has at heat one flexible jaw located in longitudinal direction between blocking rim and rigid thrust ring; jaw rests against this ring. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint. 6 cl, 4 dwg
