The driving seat is mounted on a support plate (23) and has a support arm (27) pivot mounted about a horizontal axis (28) through the seat mounting. The upper end of the support arm holds the control console (14) in front of the driving seat on a tilt adjustment. The steering wheel (13) is fitted to the control console. The control console is swung away from the driving seat for improved access to the seat. The foot controls are on a fixed console at one end of the mounting plate. The whole driving seat and its mounting can be swung about a vertical axis to face the other way.
