PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and economical divided mantel in a blast furnace which can surely and easily by carry the divided mantel while keeping this shape and can precisely and easily be assembled. SOLUTION: Relating to the divided mantel 1 constituting the mantel of the blast furnace mantel by dividing into plural number and mutually joining and assembling, plural stave coolers 5 for protecting an iron shell 3 forming the outside of the divided mantel 1 from the atmosphere in the blast furnace, are arranged in the inside of the iron shell 3 so as to be mutually adjoined. The rigidity of the divided mantel 1 is improved by providing a fastening means 12 for mutually fastening the stave coolers 5 and wedges 13 for hitting the stave coolers 5.
