PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a shock absorbing pad whereby a hot melt bonding agent is eliminated, the shock absorbing pad can be mounted easily at a reduced, cost in the mounting structure for the shock absorbing pad to be mounted with the shock absorbing pad in an inner surface of pillar trim, door trim, etc. ;SOLUTION: In an inner surface edge part of a center pillar trim lower 10, a lock pawl 11 is formed, on the other hand, in the other edge part, a clip mounting seat 40 is fixed, one side edge corner part 53 of a shock absorbing pad 50 is lock mounted in the lock pawl 11, on the other hand, by lock mounting a protrusion 55 in the other side in a lock part 46 of the clip mounting seat 40, in place of an adhesive fixing structure using the conventional hot melt system bonding agent, a lock mounting fixing structure completing mounting by one touch operation is adopted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
