PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject promoter and food/drink hopeful of calcium absorption promoting effect along with other various physiologically active functions. SOLUTION: This calcium absorption promoter is a degradation product of royal jelly which is formed by the action of a protease, containing pref. a peptide =3,000 in molecular weight as active ingredient. The other objective calcium-replenishing food/drink is obtained by inchuding the above calcium absorption promoter and calcium stock (s); furthermore, the above food/drink may also be incorporated with at least one kind of ingredient selected from vitamin D3 , casein phosphopeptide, vitamin K and isoflavon.
