PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an evaluation method in which a nondestructive inspection method by an AE sensor is adopted and in which the generation of the exfoliation of a single lap coupling part formed of plates made of a fiber-reinforced composite material is detected by means of a test piece. ;SOLUTION: In a test piece 1 which is used, a single lap coupling part 4 is formed of two plates 2, 3 made of a fiber-reinforced composite material, and a partial exfoliation part is formed on the bonding face of the single lap coupling part 4. An AE sensor 6a and an AE sensor 6b are installed in the position of the single lap coupling part 4 on the plate 2, on one side, in the test piece 1 and in a position which is at a distance from the position. A tensile load is applied to both end parts of the test piece 1, and an AE measurement is performed. In this case, generated energy is introduced as a parameter for the AE measurement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
