PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent steam from flowing out to the outside of a steamer by the expansion of air in a steaming space when a door is closed and also prevent the periphery of the steamer and the outer surface of a casing from being wetted or contaminated with a condensate. ;SOLUTION: This steam reflux device for a steamer has a steam generator 6 provided at the bottom and a steaming space 2 above the steam generator 6. In addition, an opening 8a for steam outflow is formed in part of a wall face encircling the steaming space 2. Further, a cooling path 9 is provided which has one end communicating with the opening 8a for steam outflow and the other communicating with a return path 11 to the steam generator 6 and is formed in such a manner that the cooling path 9 can come into contact with an atmosphere.
