PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve starting friction while maintaining an ordinary circulating load and fluid film lubrication effective during motion by processing a Ringer solution, an aqueous solution of a phosphate buffering physiological salt solution or a polyurethane element in deionized water. ;SOLUTION: This is related to an improving method of starting and steady condition friction of soft compliance polyurethane in an aqueous lubricant. That is, a Ringer solution, an aqueous solution of a phosphate buffering physiological salt solution or a polyurethane element in deionized water are processed. Here, this method includes processing the soft compliant polyurethane in a heated bath containing respective aqueous solutions at a constant temperature of 30 to 65°C. For example, an excellent result is obtained by processing an element at a temperature of 37°C over 96 hours.
