PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of a block and to facilitate carrying and execution thereof by using a hollow angular shell block as a tire stop block and fixing the block to the road surface by an adhesive. ;CONSTITUTION: First, comparatively large quantity of a high viscosity adhesive 9 is applied in such a manner as to build up by some measure in a designated position on the road surface 8. Subsequently, a base plate 4 is placed on the adhesive 9. In opening 2 of the block main body 1, reinforcing ribs 5, 6 are fitted in a slit 3. The head part 1h of the block main body 1 is pressed to force the adhesive 9 to enter the block main body 1 from a through opening 7. Simultaneously, the adhesive 9 is exposed on the upper surface 4u of the base plate 4. Thus, as the block main body 1 is hollow, the block can be reduced in its weight, and as the execution is performed only by the adhesive, everyone can easily install and fix the block.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
