APPARATUS FOR RESTRICTING OPERATION OF PUSH BUTTONS ON ELECTRICAL SWITCHING APPARATUS

Access is restricted to the push buttons onelectrical switching apparatus by a device which includespanel members hingedly mounted in a frame secured to theswitch over the push buttons. The panels can be locked inthe closed position over the respective push buttons byinserting a locking device through moveable staples moldedon the panel members which align with a fixed staple moldedon the frame between the panel members. A catch on theunderside of the fixed staple is engaged by catch ledges onthe panel members to retain the panel members in the closedposition without locking. The transparent panel membershave apertures too small for a finger, but through which apush button can be actuated by a tool with the panel memberclosed.
