The invention concerns a transmission device for transmitting a triggering signal to a security equipment (PT) located in a motor vehicle removable seat (S), from a system controlling (CC) the latter. Said device comprises signal-transmitting means (1-1, 1-2) located in the vehicle floor (P) slide rails (R1, R2). Said transmitting means extend over the whole length of the slide rails. They co-operate with receiver means (14) integral with the seat (S) which are automatically urged to be connected on the transmitting means, when the seat is mounted and are connected to the security equipment (PT).
