MICROORGANISM INCUBATING MEMBER AND CULTURE MEDIUM

A microorganism incubating member containing a water-soluble polymer layer and a porous matrix layer; and a culture medium containing the same. The medium is widely usable in various applications such as liquid sample inspections, food inspections, environmental inspections, and inspections through direct contact, and is effective in facilitating examination of microorganisms. Even when the samples to be inspected have a curved or slightly rugged surface, inspections through direct contact can be made.
