A titanium amino alcohol complex, a method for manufacturing the titanium amino alcohol complex, a titanium-containing product manufactured using the titanium amino alcohol complex as a starting material, and a solution containing titanium amino alcohol complex which can be used as a precursor in the manufacture of the titanium-containing product are disclosed. The titanium amino alcohol complex is represented by the following general formula (1):        Ti_x[(OR¹)_nN]_x[(OR¹)_x(R¹OH)_y]     (1)wherein R¹ represents an alkylene group or arylene group, x denotes a number of from 1 to 3, y denotes a number of 3-x, and n denotes a number of from 1 to 3.
