To a method of measuring the durability of a vehicle wheel by computer simulation of a dynamic radial fatigue test. The modeling of this system is simplified by modeling tire parts made of nonlinear materials by linear elements and modeling each of the pneumatic pressures. The load applied through the contact between the tire and the drum and the pressure contact effect of the tire bead are modeled as direct loads do. With this modeling, stresses applied to the vehicle wheels can be analyzed by linear analysis instead of non-linear analysis, resulting in reduced memory capacity and computation time.
