The present invention relates to an extensible lock that secures a wear member to a support structure of an excavator. These locks each include a base and a body that can be stretched and retracted to hold and release the wear member. The body has an inclined bearing surface that engages with a corresponding bearing surface on the wear member to pull the wear member on the support structure and prevent the wear member from inadvertently releasing.
