The method of improving controllability of a motor vehicle describes a desired slip value that is determined and adjusted with the aid of a wheel slip controller.;The following values are measured;;Yaw rate (φ);Steering Value (δ);Wheel speed (V Ri );Inlet pressure or wheel brake pressure;Engine speed;Draw roll valve value;The following values are evaluated;;Lateral vehicle speed (V X );Lateral vehicle acceleration (V x );Wheel slim value (λ ι );Lateral force (F B );Tire force (F R );Longitudinal speed (V Y );The desired slip value λ π is determined from them with the help of a simple vehicle model.
