METHOD OF PREDICTING BILE-STONE DISEASE AND DIAGNOSTICS OF CALCULOUS CHOLECYSTITIS

FIELD: analytical medicine. SUBSTANCE: thin layer of bile is laid on the surface of microscope slide. 20 mcl of bile is dried up in the form of drop on transparent surface at 18-28 C to determine the number of leukocytes in bile preparation by microscopic examination. When salt crystals over all surface of dried up drop and 1-10 leukocytes in preparation are found, bile-stone disease is diagnosed, and, when crystallization picture is the same and number of leukocytes exceeds 10, it is indication of calculous cholecystitis. Method enables diagnostics of development of bile-stone disease from the stage of biochemical disturbances in metabolism to formation of stone in biliary ducts.
