PURPOSE: To provide the band management and the call reception control system in the ATM exchange in which either a transmission line or an output path which offers better efficiency is made available when a ratio between a maximum information transmission speed and a call maximum speed is smaller than a prescribed value X. ;CONSTITUTION: The call reception control system for the ATM exchange in which reception management/rejection discrimination of a call is implemented based on a traffic application by a subscriber at dialing is provided with an estimate means 1 estimating a communication request band of the subscriber based on the traffic application by a subscriber at dialing, a management means 2 managing the quantity of use of the band of the transmission line or the output path and a means 3 using the operating band of the means 2 and the band estimated by the means 1 so as to implement reception discrimination of the call under a condition where the communication quality is satisfied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
