PURPOSE:To reduce a number of wires by transmitting ON and OFF states of a switch body to a controlled equipment by means of a time division multiplex transmission system. CONSTITUTION:A switch body 2 tuning ON and OFF in accordance with the insertion and withdrawal of a card to and from a slot provided to a case body is provided. A terminal processing section 36 is connected to a transmission line through a terminal T1 for connecting to the transmission line connected to a main control device transmitting data through a time division multiplex transmission system. The terminal processing section 36 produces reply data as a monitor input of ON and OFF states of the switch body 2. When address data included in transmitting signals from the main control device corresponds with addresses set by a dip switch 32, the terminal processing section 36 returns the reply date to the main control device. The main control device transmits control data corresponding to the reply data to a controlling terminal equipment setting a corresponding relation with the addresses to control load connected to the controlling terminal equipment.
