PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in tandelta and increase water-tree-resistance by pressing and covering a polyolefine composition in which organic peroxides are compounded as cross-linking agents for cross-linking to form a cross-link polyolefine insulating coating, followed by removing cracked residues of the organic peroxides remaining in the cross-link polyolefine insulating coating with a baking treatment, and followed by providing a sheath around its periphery. CONSTITUTION:After a polyolefine composition in which organic peroxides are compounded as cross-linking agents is pressed and covered on a conductor followed by cross-linking to form a cross-link polyolefine insulating coating, it is baked to reduce cracked residues of organic peroxides remaining in the cross-linked polyolefine insulating coating, and next a sheath is provided to cover its periphery. In this way, the cracked residues of organic peroxides remaining in the insulating coating can be reduced, and water is also removed by this baking treatment. Consequently, preventing an increase in tandelta and increasing water-tree-resistance can be performed.
