PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily tighten a machine screw and to prevent a groove collapse of a screw hole by making a vertical cross recessed machine screw by providing a vertical cross recess in the upper head of a machine screw body and providing a vertical cross type at the tip part of a driver body.;SOLUTION: In the upper part of a machine screw body 1, a vertical cross recess 2 in which a head part is vertical and an upper side and a bottom side have the same width is provided. In tightening the machine screw body 1, when a machine screw is used, the machine screw body 1 is tightened by inserting a vertical cross type 4 to be a tip part of a vertical cross type machine screw tightening tool driver 3 into the vertical cross recess 2 and rotating the vertical cross type 4.
