PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling cable guide apparatus for an obliquely traveling elevator which can prevent noise caused by the contact of the ear part of a supporting roller with the traveling cable, and the friction of the traveling cable for a long time. ;SOLUTION: A noise reduction member 21 formed out of a doughnut-shaped synthetic resin board which has abrasion resistance and flexibility is disposed between the ear parts 16a-19a of supporting rollers 16-19 and the end of a traveling cable 9, and the noise reduction member 21 has a slit in its part, and can be attached to the supporting rollers 16-19 through the slit. It is thus possible to prevent noise caused by the contact of the ear parts 16a-19a of the supporting rollers 16-19 and the end of the traveling cable 9, and the friction of the traveling cable by means of the noise reduction member 21 when a cage travels, and keep the preventing effects of the noise and friction for a relatively long time because the noise reduction member 21 is formed out of the synthetic resin board which has abrasion resistance and flexibility.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
