PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosing device for a moving cable of an obliquely traveling elevator, wherein the moving cable can easily be diagnosed without removal. ;SOLUTION: A moving cable diagnosing device is composed of an X-ray generating part 11 installed on one side of a moving cable 6 and irradiating it with X-rays 70, an X-ray inspection device 9 installed on the other side of the moving cable 6 opposing to the part 11 and equipped with an X-ray image reception part 12 to convert the X-rays transmitted through the cable 6 into a visible image, a CCD camera 17 installed in the part 12 for photographing the visible image, a displaying means 40 equipped with a TV 40b to display the visible image sent through the cable 40a, a placing part 50A where the inspection device 9 is placed, and a supporting means 50 installed on the part 50A and having a supporting part 50B fixed by bolts to L-shape steels 8 and 8a constituting frames.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
