PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide uniform urea/ammonium sulfate fertilizer granules having a high ammonium sulfate content. ;SOLUTION: This method for granulating a urea/ammonium sulfate mixture fertilizer containing ammonium sulfate in an amount of ≤60 wt.% comprises (1) a process for producing melted urea suspension comprising ammonium sulfate having an average particle diameter of 30-300 μm and melted urea having a temperature of 120-155°C, (2) a granulation process for blowing out the melted urea suspension produced in the above process for producing the melted urea suspension on urea/ammonium sulfate fine particles in a fluidized layer sufficiently expanded in the blowing portion of a granulator with blown air by the use of one or more nozzles from the lower side, and (3) a separation process for separating the fertilizer granules produced in the fluidized layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
