PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-service type terminal device which has the power of resistance to harmful conditions caused by external use. SOLUTION: An externally-used ATM 10 has a maintenance housing 32 that houses various modules to make the ATM 10 operate. A fascia 12 is connected to the housing 32 by a hinge and the fascia encircles a user interface 14. Plural heat insulating panels 30 are connected with the housing and the housing and the modules are thermally insulated from the temperature outside the ATM 10. These panels 30 can be replaced when they are damaged because they are removable.
