PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing method of fibrous impurities contained in sewage devised to be capable of carrying out stable sewage disposal by certainly capturing and removing the fibrous impurities such as hair, etc., contained in sewage at low cost by efficient use of a wire in a simple method. ;SOLUTION: Fibrous impurities G are captured by soaking them to specified depth in a processing tank 1 by rewinding a wire 3 by length to wind it up after collecting the fibrous impurities G captured on the wire 3 at a position forming knots 31 on the wire 3 by slipping them down along the wire 3 by drawing the knots 31 formed on the wire 3 up on a water level from a soaking position of specified depth in the processing tank 1 by winding up the wire 3 soaked in the processing tank 1 on a winding drum 22 once by specified length.
