PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject braider enabling a triple ply straw rope to be braided relatively easily in a short time. ;SOLUTION: This braider has such a scheme that, three straw inserting cylinders 21 are set up at positions corresponding to the ridge lines of a pseudotrigonally pyramidal space, the respective inner sides of a triangular exit on one end are fitted with tongue parts 31 each of an acute-triangular flat plate via a coil spring 33 using a hinge plate 32, the tongue parts 31 are covered with a protective cylinder 34, the outer circumference at the central part of the straw inserting cylinder 21 is fitted with a rotating part driving gear 22 and the cylinder 21 is fixed onto a support 1 so as to be turnable freely; a braiding section 5 is set up in the vicinity of the apex of the pseudotrigonally pyramidal space lying along the extension from the respective tips of the three protective cylinders 34, the three rotating part driving gears 22 are mutually engaged on a driving gear 41 which, in turn, is made to be rotatable with a handle 43.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
