PURPOSE:To make assembling easy by a method wherein horizontal engaging members are fixed to the upper and the lower ends of a side plate and while a member facing another side plate positioned outside is constructed of vertical engaging members and supports, the side plates are stacked up with binding members. CONSTITUTION:Block bodies A and B, with L-shaped horizontal engaging members 2 fixed respectively to the upper and the lower ends of their side plates 1, are connected together at an optional position through engaging holes 30. In case of constructing a retaining wall, a foundation 7 and a foundation anchor 71 are arranged and the engaging member 2 is fixed to the anchor 71. Then a support 8 and an extractable form 81 are installed to the ground-side G and a binding member 41 and a diagonal binding member 42 are installed into a space between the ground-side and the side plate 1 installed at the opposite side. Back-filling rubbles 72 are then laid and concrete is cast thereon. Before hardening of the concrete, the extractable form 81 is pulled out, letting the concrete infiltrate into the rubbles 72. Therefore assembling is simply carried out as the block body can be made lightweight and large-sized.
