Method for promoting chemical bonding between elastomer and carbon black using benzene sulfonyl azides derivatives. The reinforcing power of carbon black depends on the nature and density of the surface interactions between the particle and the polymer matrix. There are chemicals that act as "promoters" or "coupling agents', which added to an elastomer / black carbon mixture, before or during mastication of rubber, improve the reinforcing of the load, resulting in vulcanized properties physical higher.
