Vending machine booklets, brochures or the like, operated by coins, comprising a top plate (6) and a lower horizontal plate (7), a platform (10) for supporting a stack of booklets, moved vertically guided by vertical rods ( 9) and driven upwards by a counterweight (14) situated on each side thereof, also guided in vertical rods (8) and connected by respective flexible cables, through an upper pulley (17), on each side of the platform (10); a slider (20) guided in displacement forward and back on the stack of booklets, driven by a connecting rod (21) articulated by one end to the front of the slide (20) and at its rear end to a crank (22) driven by a gearmotor (43), applying the slide (20) via a bottom step (39), in its retracted position, the rear edge of a booklet situated immediately below, to move it toward the exit opening when activated machine.
