Antigen presentation system based on the plum pox virus.

The display system of heterologous antigens based on the plum pox virus (PPV) comprises a particle chimeric PPV formed by assembly of the capsid protein (CP) modified PPV containing at least one heterologous antigen in said CP modified, said antigen being arranged on the outer surface of said viral particle PPV. Preferably, said heterologous antigen is at the amino terminus of the modified CP PPV. In a particular embodiment the construction of a display system of an immunologically active epitope derived from the VP2 protein of canine parvovirus (CPV) is described. These antigen presentation systems have utility in vaccines diagnosis.
