PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing semi-dried feed using food wastes as a main ingredient with microorganism is provided to treat the food waste easily without causing environmental pollution and generating offensive odors. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by the following steps of: (i) removing bulky vinyl from collected food waste; (ii) separating the upper part of small vinyl pieces and the lower part of glass pieces and metals from the food wastes by using a specific gravity sorting machine with washing out salt from the wastes; (iii) dehydrating the food wastes in a thin gruel state and getting cake state of food wastes containing 60% of water; (iv) getting powdered food wastes containing 40% of water by sterilizing and drying the cake state wastes with high temperature steam; and then (v) spraying a mixture of culture solutions of 30-60wt% of saccharomyces cerevisiae (HG304), 20-50wt% of Lactobacillus sp.(HG505) and 20-50wt% of Bacillus sp.(HG730) to the powdered food wastes and fermenting the mixture at 23-27deg.C for 20-48hrs.
