The steering arrangement has an input shaft (1) coupled to a steering wheel, an actuator (3) for applying an additional angle to the steering angle caused by the steering wheel and an output shaft (4) connected to the steering gearbox. The output shaft transfers the steering angle with the superimposed additional angle to the gearbox. A fixed cam (6) mounted on the output shaft can move between two stops (7) as the output shaft rotates within a control region to limit actuator rotation. The stops are mechanically coupled to the input shaft.
