The method involves fixing the free ends of the two sub-conductor columns (5) of the stator rods with respect to each other before fitting in the turbogenerator and connecting the rod ends by soldering them to a coil after successful fitting. A solder block (4) is placed in a recess (2) in a welding crucible volume (3), the regions (7) of the columns to be joined are enclosed by the volume and are thermally welded together and to the solder block. The facing solder blocks are finally soldered together using an inductor.
